There is no one-size fits all price for the bookkeeping and month-end services that I offer. Your business is as unique as you are, and so your final estimate will be provided after we've had a meeting and identified your specific business needs. With that said, I've outlined three levels of service packages below to give you a general idea of what typical month-end work might look like at each level. Keep in mind: your service package will be customized to fit your actual needs.
Note: The estimates below are based on the use of QuickBooks Online (QBO) accounting software. QBO subscription fees are not included.

Accounting Firms: Facing a messy year-end client file that needs cleaning before financial statements can be prepared?
Bookkeeping Firms: Need an experienced, remote full-cycle bookkeeper to help your team meet commitments and deadlines?
Business Owners: Have a staff bookkeeper taking a short-term leave or a well-earned vacation?
Lawyers: Drowning in pages (and pages!) of financial disclosure that need to be organized and summarized into something manageable?
I specialize in stepping in quickly, bringing order to financial chaos, and helping you meet your deadlines with confidence.
Good Habits that could make a big difference:
Separate your accounts: Open separate business bank accounts and credit cards for all business transactions. Keep your personal transactions out of these accounts as they could create tedious work for you and your bookkeeper to separate transactions, increasing the time and guesswork needed to accurately categorize your business's true income and expenses.
Go paperless when possible: Opt-in for e-statements from banks and vendors to reduce paper clutter.
Keep organized digital files: Utilize cloud storage for scanned receipts and invoices for easy access and organization. Missing key receipts and paperwork could make it difficult for your bookkeeper to separate sales tax and categorize expenses, often requiring them to omit legitimate business expenses or have to make educated guesses that may not hold up in an audit.
Schedule regular 'money dates' with yourself: Set aside dedicated time each week to review your financial records and communicate with your bookkeeper. Committing as little as 15-30 mins each week will keep you informed and on-track!
Communicate clearly and timely: Maintain open communication with your bookkeeper, providing clear instructions and asking questions when unsure. Procrastinating can lead to a backlog of work, requiring your bookkeeper to spend significant time cleaning up messy books or catching up on tasks.
Pay bills on time: Avoid late fees and interest charges by ensuring your bills are paid promptly.
